Thank you for using Recall: German Vocabulary (“the App”). Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

1. What Information Do We Collect?

We only collect and use the minimal information required to provide our service:

• Authentication Data: When you sign in using Google, we use Supabase to authenticate you. Supabase stores:
  • Your email address
  • Basic profile information (such as your display name and profile picture)
  • Timestamps of account creation and last login

• Local Device Data: Your learning progress (words learned, deck usage, streaks) is stored only on your device. We do not have access to this data.
• Ads: We use non-personalized ads to support the app. These ads do not track you or create a profile.

2. How Do We Use Your Information?

We use the data described above for the following purposes:

• To enable sign-in via Google
• To manage your session using Supabase Auth
• To serve non-personalized advertisements

3. Do We Share Your Information?

No. We do not share, sell, or transfer any personal data. Supabase handles all authentication securely and independently.

4. Cookies or Tracking

We do not use cookies or analytics tracking.

5. Data Retention

We do not retain any personal data beyond what Supabase handles during active sessions.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or a higher age threshold as required by applicable law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If we become aware that a child under this age has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. 7. Your Rights (Under GDPR)

As a user in the EU, you have the right to:

• Access your authentication data (via Supabase)
• Request correction or deletion (handled through your Google account)
• Withdraw consent at any time (by signing out)

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
